Anna Reeves lives at Waimārama in Hawke’s Bay with her son Kaitiaki. She is a weaver, painter, grower of hue (gourds), maker of taonga pūoro (musical instruments), and rongoā (herbal medicines). She holds graduate qualifications in Education and Addictions, a Master’s degree in Counselling, and is a current student of Toimairangi School of Māori Visual Art in Hastings.
